hey people, thanks in advance for the help.
so i have bt infinity and have switched to the tp-link n300 and it works all fine but i seam to be speed limited since the switch, not too sure why but did speed tests on various sites and it seams to cap at 15mb. same situation via wifi or ethernet.
so i should be getting around 50 down and 10 up
i am getting 15 down and 2 up since the switch.
i am assuming i did something wrong in setup or something, if anyone knows what setting i need to change let me know.
on the status tab it shows:
not sure what else to do think its something to do with my snr db but not sure how to change and test.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
It looks as though you perhaps incurred the wrath of DLM with possible multiple disconnections whilst setting up the TP-Link.
So basicaly i have to wait 48hrs for it to go back to normal?
Probably much longer than that.
Just to make sure it is not a problem with the TP-Link, after 24hours disconnect it, wait at least 30 minutes and then re-connect the Home Hub. If the hub syncs at ~50M, wait another 30 minutes and disconnect it. Again after 30 mins re-connect the TP Link and check speed again.
