Hi, I have recently switched to BT from Virgin Media and am now having serious latency issues on my PC when using it, particularly gaming.
The connection is fine however latency is very unstable, staying low then suddenly increasing to around 100/200ms which makes online games almost unplayable.
I called for support however latency is not covered for broadband issues so I was told to go to the community to try and solve it from home.
Currently, my ideas are:
1. DNS Setting adjustments - which I am unsure of how to go about doing
2. Changing to a 3rd party router
3. Removing the Hive Hub (as I was told these cause interference) however I did not have this issue with my old ISP
