@Gr1ff how did you get the pin checker to run on infinity?  I tried and it just kept telling me I was on a dynamic ip and it wouldnt work

The Homehub won't respond to ICMP requests so if you're still using that then it's a no go. If you're using another router then just ignore the dynamic IP warning and create the monitor anyway. If/when your IP changes just create a new monitor.

Re: Major Packet Loss

@Craigs - Can we get an official statement from BT here please?  It's not just a couple of people in an area with a cabinet problem, it's a country trying to access another country via one ISP.  Seems pretty major to me, if not press-worthy.

Cheers

Re: Major Packet Loss

Registered on this site just to chime in on this issue.  Unuseable internet during peak hours, we're talking below dialup levels of responsiveness.  You could almost time it to the minute that it went pear shaped as 7pm arrived.

Re: Major Packet Loss

I'm starting to think my company should be billing BT for their incompetitance regarding this.

We are a glamour model live webcam site and the last few days we've seen members complaining about this, due to the fact that our billing and streaming server is located in the United States.  We are completely powerless to help them, and these customers are not paying until we can guarantee them quality service.

So Mr. BT - How about some compensation here please?  Get off ya bums and fix this issue!

At this point (1913) we're down to 41% packet loss!
