Massive increase in broadband usage since subscribing to BT TV
I have just received an e-mail from BT informing me that my broadband usage is over 31GB for November (and increasing when I look at the monitor today). My normal usage is around 23GB and the increase is entirley coincident with starting a new contract at the end of October to include BT TV. My reported usage of YouView is around 8 GB so would easily account for this sudden increase in logged data usage. I have a 45 GB per month allowance and was told that I did not need an unlimited package as my usage was well within this figure.
YouView usage should not be included in the reported data download figure but is BT counting this twice? Has anyone elase experinced this problem?
