Master socket not working but extensions and test socket both working

Hi,

Recently moved into a flat and got my new router from internet provider. However, I have discovered that the router says it has no internet access when connected to the master socket. If I remove the faceplate and connect to the test socket then all is fine and more puzzingly the 2 extension sockets in the lounge are also both working.

Does anybody know if this is easy to fix or if it's just easier to get somebody out to fix? If so will it be expensive?

You need to contact your own ISP to get the problem solved and probably openreach engineer visit

Its a simple way of checking ISP. If you try it from another connection, you will not be able to see it.
