Max Data Rate; wibbly wobbly

Hi all,

I'm looking for some guidance on what might be happening in this case... infinity 2/homehub 5... and the question is this : What might be causing my max download rate to change so frequently?

I'm leaning to errors on the line but thats all invisible to me and i'm guessing based on the disconnects.

fact share

my download max rate bounces around intra day between 50 and 60

my upload max rate is solid at 16

my actual D/L rate is solid at 39999 (DLM doing that?)

my actual U/L rate is solid at 16

lots of disconnects - longest uptime over past 4 months has been about 5 days. The average is 1.5 days

quiet test seems ok to me

checker says this...

Are you connected to the master socket or an extension?

Have you had an engineer visit?

As you can obviously see the stats via your HH do you think there is a possibilty you could post them for us to see?

Have you performed a quiet line test? 17070 option 2.

I'll do that tonight when i'm home, Pippincp.

i did the quiet test and seems fine to me - cordless - practically no sound at all.

Re: Max Data Rate; wibbly wobbly

After a few calls the help line agreed there was persistent dropping on my line. So they've passed this to Engineering.

Anyone know what happens now ? Should I expect a call or something?

Have the arranged an engineer to attend the property?

If not nothing will change.
