McAfee subscription on phone

I have a Halo contract which gives me a 15 user licence for McAfee and have put it on one PC and one laptop so far. However, when I try to put it on my android phone, it tells me that there is an internal server error and I can't get any further. Has anyone had the same experience?

Hi mikep120, welcome to the forum and sorry you are getting this error. Firstly can you login to your MYBT and check How Many Virus Protect Licences there are on your account to ensure that you are getting the correct amount.

Thank you for your reply. I've checked mybt and it says that I am entitled to 15 uses.

Hi @mikep120 thanks for checking and eliminating that as the issue. How are you trying to download the Virus Protect, ie from the google play store, MYBT or the MYBT App? Have you tried to download via another one of these options?
If that doesn't work do you have another Andriod device you can test the download on?

Hello. I have tried to download through the McAfee app on my PC. It lists the devices covered, then there's a link to add more. When I choose the link, it mails a code number to my phone and tells me to press "Download". It is at that point that the message comes saying that there is an internal server error.

@mikep120 thanks for clarifying that. I think this one will need to be raised with our Virus protect experts. I'll send you a private message so you can get in touch with the moderation team and we'll get a fault reported.

I am having the same trouble trying to load MacAfee onto my new TCL20se (T671H) mobile phone. I have used 4 of the 15 licences available and it installs ok and works on my old Samsung Galaxy S5?
