Mcafee blocking websites

My Mcafee is blocking web sites even though i have entered the website in the "unblock" section i have entered https:// and www. but it still blocks the web site, it does say "not secure"in the address bar, i'm using Safari.

I stopped using Safari over a year ago but, I suggest look at your Safari Preferences panel and ensure the McAfee Web Control extension has been enabled.

Further, have you ensured you have the latest McAfee update installed? It was always a tad behind the latest OS.

Finally, have you tried a different browser.

Now I have Windows 10 so the above is from memory which cannot be relied upon! I ditched McAfee and am now content with Windows Security.

After some research i found the problem, the web site is my own and it does not have a 's' after the http so i have to pay for a 'SSL' and for my web site it's not worth it, but still think Mcafee should let it through.
