I have returned to BT after a few years hiatus, but foolishly signed up for my new package with the email address of the ISP I am leaving. I have a previous BT ID with a BT email address which I continue (and want to continue) to use, but I am unable to make this my 'Primary' ID/'Account Holder' ID.
Is it possible to merge the two BT IDs or at least switch so my btinternet.com associated ID is the primary ID?
(I am aware there is an option to claim 'account holder' status in the My BT 'My Profile' section, but each time I try to use this, it throws up errors and doesn't let me progress any further)
