I've just upgraded from Microsoft Office 2010 to Office 2016 - running under Windows10. All my mailboxes have made the upgrade to the new Outlook except my btopenworld.com address: I get the message can't open files. Any ideas?? Checked all the settings and they seem okay.
What are the settings you have used? Try using btinternet.com rather than btopenworld.com
Changed to btinternet address, no difference. Using IMAP - incoming 993 - outgoing 465 - both SSL enabled.
Yes, the authentication box has been ticked. I have 4 other email accounts, business and personal and all made the transition okay; so was wondering whether there are any obvious differences in 2016 which have compatability problems with BT.
