Mikrotik Audience

Good morning all.

Has anyone dropped one of these mesh devices in place of the Smart Hub on FTTP installations? Our telephone is provided out of the back of the smart hub, so I assume I need to configure the BT router as a modem only before I install the Audience.

The ONT is the modem not the Smart Hub, and if you use a different router, then you will lose your phone service.

You can of course use a mesh system that can operate in access point mode, like the Tenda Nova MW3 or similar. What you are suggesting may have that option, many mesh systems do.
