Mini Connector slow down (Mac)

Hi guys

odd one, the mini connector that my mac pro is connected to gets full speed on 1st start (60mb) then after a short time drops to 5-6 mb.

turning the socket on an off gives full speed again but then slows down the same as above.

any ideas ?

I still have the same issue, does anyone have any ideas why unplugging and replugging brings up the speed and then drop shortly after ?
