We are a small business who signed a new 5 year contract back in 2019. On reflection we were basically hounded by the London Sales Team, receiving call after call asking if we were ready to sign up. Surprise, surprise, after signing, and now we have problems they are nowhere to be found, contact with them is impossible. We were assured that we would be making considerable savings with our new contract, but our bills have gone up and up and we are now paying over £700 per quarter more than we did before signing the new contract, and that is with buying the new telephone system from them outright. Line rentals have been increased, we have had more charges added on without knowing what they are for - what was the point of signing a 5 year contract if prices were always going to increase anyway? I have been bounced around from one department to another, billing says it's not their problem, telemarketing didn't even reply to my email, nobody is actually taking any responsibility for my query, and nobody can explain why our bills are increasing so considerably. I have also written to the correspondence centre in Durham, I did get a telephone call from them, but they then passed me over to the billing team again - this is where I started off and was told it was not their problem. I did address my letter to a manager or supervisor - this was obviously ignored. Again billing couldn't help me, I mentioned that I wanted a manager to call me, he said he'd arrange that and put the phone down on me - that was over a week ago and I have heard nothing since. Frustrated doesn't even touch on how I'm am feeling trying to get answers from BT.
