Mobile Usage: Unrecognised text messages on bill

Hope you can help with my query... how can text messages appear on your mobile bill that you know you never sent be explained? Can this happen or is there some explanation for it.

When you say they weren't sent what exactly do you mean? A text message has a character limit & multiple messages at the same time could be a long message split into several. Do you recognise the numbers they're sent to as well, have you been charged for them too?

Thanks for your reply. So, when you send text messages the number is recorded on your itemised bill. My itemised bill show mobile numbers I never sent texts to, how can that happen? I don't recognise the mobile numbers and no one else has access to my mobile. I'm just looking for an explanation how this might occur. Thanks
