Mobile rates for memory issues

Hello

My mum suffers from dementia and has been making a LOT of mobile calls (10 - 30) to family each day. Often the call may only be a few seconds if it goes through to an answer machine. This is costing a lot of money, especially because 2 second calls cost a minimum of 23p per call! She has the 1/2 price calls add on.. is there anything else we might be able to do to try and decrease the cost?

Re: Mobile rates for memory issues

I assume she does not have a normal landline that she can use with an inclusive calls package?

Re: Mobile rates for memory issues

I think you mean that mum is making calls to mobiles, which would be half price on a BT phone with the Unlimited Anytime Calls add on. If so there's no longer any calling plan available (BT did have one which might have helped but it's been discontinued).

This might be worth looking at with a view to blocking calls to mobiles.
