Re: Modem stats

They install ECI modems because it'll be an ECI MSAN in the cab

Re: Modem stats

Does that mean it's the only kit that will work with that cabinet then?

Re: Modem stats

Unfortunatley the Cab is either a ECI cab or Huawei cab thats why the BTOR gives you a ECI or HG612 because it down to how the Cab works.

Re: Modem stats

thats incorrect
more likely they buy a eci cab and get the eci modems free
or they buy a huawei cab and get the huawei modems free

Re: Modem stats

All I am seeing if you use a ECI Modem on a Huawei Cab your get alot of HEC errors and with that slow download rate, they need to be paired ECI Modem to ECI Cab and Huawei Modem to Huawei Cab.

Re: Modem stats

The Modem settings for a DrayTeks will need to be configured identically to which BTOR modem you use ECI or HG612 to get best performance out off the DrayTek Modem/Router.
