You'll have to be more specific - what use is what?
Seems to be back...I wonder if it works now?😎

Actually, I think it's only the whole Web Mail element which is down, as my client (Thunderbird) still seems to be happy picking up messages. Client links into the mail servers still seem open. I received a message a 9.10. I have also sent a message via Thunderbird which was received by my gmail account, although when I replied to it (and sent another) nothing has been received. So maybe a problem with incoming via a client, but not outgoing from a client.
I'm sure they are working on it.
Oh!!! Touch wood.... just logged in and it worked! Well done BT, I think you're wonderful (Sshhh...., I don't really but don't want them to know LOL) 😂
Trying to bulk select emails to delete, miss the tiny radio button by a millimetre and hey-presto you've opened an email, and when you return to the inbox, all the emails you selected have been unselected and you have to start again. Not that this was much better on the old interface, but I had to reduce the mailbox font size in order to see more buttons on the top. I think I will have to try this email client idea.
Yes, took 10 - 15 min for my emails to appear this am, I was beginning to worry! Then it gradually 'woke up'. I wonder if it's anything to do with the new feature that is being pushed out, "BT Web Protect", includes anti spam apparently, so rollout would have an impact upon switch on.

Again, this is NO EXCUSE for BT - but if you use a client such actions are very simple. I emptied my 'trash' today (300+ deleted emails) with two clicks - 'select all' and 'delete'. No 50 message limit on 'select all' (there are ways round this, but why bother?) and the client does what you tell it to. I looked back immediately into the Web Mail interface and the Trash there was empty - so it works. BT Yahoo had similar (if not quite so annoying) habits - so in this case BT hasn't wrecked entirely what was otherwise a good thing. Although they've 'dis-improved' it further.
@Agapanthus it's 2.17.4. and works fine here.
If this Email was the original webmail client and BT was switching to a new BT yahoo mail. There would be just as many complaints.
Bottom line people don't like change. As they say can't teach an old dog new tricks
