yeah it's connected to the test socket now, but speedtester.bt is giving me errors.. it tests the download/upload but when it sends the data to the server or whatever it comes up with an error.

your crc/hec errors and error seconds are high for only 14min connected suggesting line noise which will be having an adverse effect on your download speed.  did you use a new filter when you connected to the test socket?

No new filter, nope. And the router is in the hallway, so I'm not sure if there's anything interferring with it.
