Re: Moving Home to BT Infinity Enabled Area. Not Confident BT Can Do The Job

Worked out ok in the end. BT moved the account with no fuss. Line and broadband worked on time. Not getting top speed. Currently around 54mb down and 16mb up. Connected to master socket but wireless as the socket is in an awkward place however doesn't seem to affect speeds as I have tested it with an ethernet cable direct to the computer and it's the same.

All devices connect fine, including tabs, mobiles and PS3. Youview box needs a wired connection (pathetic!) and TV needs a "special" LG dongle (rip off) so for now they are the only two not connected. Wil get some home plugs as the sockets are directly at the back of TV and YV Box.

I think the speed could be higher but i am approx 500mtr from the cabinet. Hopefully BT will improve the tech in the coming months and things will improve.

All in all BT did a great job and my initial fears were unfounded.
