Moving Home

I am moving home shortly but there is already a phone number/broadband provision to the currently unoccupied property. I am getting the house with my job and will take over the BT bills from the property owners, can anyone advise what I do with my current BT account.

Call BT on 0800 800 150, say you no longer need your account from xx/xx/xxxx and ask they close it.
