Thanks john 46 - but not really an option - we've had the line without Infinity for a ages and everyone knows (and uses) the number; the 2nd line with Infinity was installed a couple of years ago for working from home, etc.
Is it possible to order Infinity on the main line, and then cancel the second line and its Infinity - hope this makes sense?
Thanks in advance.
The smoothest way to do it would be to order Infinity on the line that does not currently have it and then once that is up and running then you can cancel it on the line that had it originally.
Beware that early cancellation fees could apply if you stop the Infinity you presently have.
Try contacting the BT Options Team 0800.800.030 to see if they can help you with the best solution.
Be aware that this is the sort of complicated change that BT and Openreach are very good at fouling up. I can see so many ways in which it could go horribly wrong.
Here is a link to the cancellation fees you will incur, assuming you are still in contract, if you decide to cancel your present Infinity line and move onto the other line.
