Ok so this is a strange one. We are moving home next month, I phoned BT to start the moving process of my landline and broadband. The situation with the house we are moving into is its just down the road so same exchange, its about 15 years old, the owner has built another house and is renting this house out to us. According to BT there is no active phone line, I said thats odd as I was just talking to the person in that house on that phone line that is not active, Nope didn't matter no active phone line £130 charge. Obviously a **bleep** up somewhere. Any ideas?
BT said the same and that would explain it were it not for the fact we only have BT here, we have no LLU or cable at our exchange.
