My son is moving to a BT served home but the broadband can’t be provided for two weeks. I have a spare BT hub five and I wondered if I could set up any sort of temporary wifi prior to the full service being provided. I’d be happy for any charges to come to my BT account. I suppose it’s unlikely but just asking

he could use BTWIFI if there any BT customers nearby where he will live but would need to use your BTID and password which would give access to your BT account
hub is no good until broadband available

But couldn't the son download the BTWiFi app, Dad can log him in, so that the son will not have a clue as to the password.
When the lad is eventually connected, log off the app and remove it from his phone.
I am sure the BTWiFi app remains logged in but if not, I apologise.
just him or if you did the entry yourself on his phone/tablet then just you
