Moving line to new property and new account

Hi

We currently have two phone line and they are both on the same account, the second line is going to have its number moved to a new property on the same exchange, the new property will then need to have a seperate account as there is currently no active line at that address.

Do we need to transfer the secondary number to the new property first then get it transfered to a new account holder or get it setup on a new account then transfer it to the other property.

Basicly property one has two lines on the same account and we wish to move one line to a new property and new account holder at that property.

Regards Chanfron

Re: Moving line to new property and new account

Hi Chanfron,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community forum.

Your best bet with this would be to get the line activated at the new address with a new number.  Once the service has been installed your can cancel the second line and once cancelled, place a renumber order for that particular number at the new address.

This would be the best way making sure you get to keep that number.

All the best,

Robbie
