Moving to Infinity - a couple of HH4 Questions

Go to solution

Hi, I'm considering moving onto Infinity and have a couple of questions regarding the HH4.

1. Does the HH4 have a modem built in or will BT supply the HH4 with a seperate modem?

2. Can I switch off the HH4 wireless and use it as a router only connected to my existing wireless access point? (The layout of my building requires an AP to get full wireless coverage)

Thanks

No built in modem. You will need to use either your own modem or the supplied Openreach one.

Yes you can turn off the wireless signal on the homehub 4

See this link

No modem in the HH4 (or HH3) the engineer will bring the Openreach modem with him.

You can turn the wireless off.
