Moving to another supplier. Can I keep BT TV ?

Go to solution

Hello all,

BT are proving to be really expensive for unlimited fibre and calls and I can save up to £30 per month by moving to another supplier. Can I still keep BT TV when I move suppliers or do I have to move my TV too ?

Thanks

Stu

If price is the only issue then best bet is to call and try to negotiate for a reduction, you have to do it with every thing these days.

Are you referring to the Youview box or BT TV subscription channels like BT Sport?

Hi. It was the YouView box I was referring to, however I've taken your advice and negotiated a reduced rate to remain as a loyal customer.  Its actually very frustrating that I had to get to the stage of leaving to get a lower price and out of principle I should have walked away.

For future reference the Youview box is yours to keep, despite what you might be told by BT Customer Services staff.

As with any service company you should always query the price you pay before walking away. Although I must admit I have walked away on principle in the past, just depends how much it might inconvenience me to do so.
