My calendar started working as it should yesterday and is O.K. today. The problem seems to have been solved for the time being but watch this space.
Ok so its fixed for now, lets hope the widespread outage was not caused by them fixing it, but this is not necessarily fixed for long it may well go down again in a couple of weeks or less. I have my fingers crossed though and at least the backroom guys have the reports that they need if it goes off again.
Be nice if they could fix the contacts as well but hey one thing at a time - Rome wasn't built in a day, I think!
I cannot get the calendar to sync on either iPhone or iPad. The verification simply will not work. When is this going to be fixed? It is obviously a serious problem affecting a lot of people.
Hi - my calendar has not synced to my iPhone or iPad for several weeks now. I have managed to speak with various people at BT (6 over one 70 minute call !) and my sense is that they know there is a problem and they are working on it, it is complex so I will persevere but it does not appear to be getting resolved as fast I would ike and this is causing me problems organising/attending meetings etc
When I get your messages re this topic, the tab is prefaced by "Solved", meaning I assume that the basic calendar is now working (which it is for me, except that the wrong day has been shown as "Today" on at least 2 days recently). So, Rhys, is there a new outstanding complaint re syncing? You need to check that.
Ok, I have marked this trail as New so hopefully it will no longer present itself as 'solved'. In one form or another it has been ongoing since August
This is an ongoing problem, despite the "solved" status. It has occurred on and off for a number of years (!) and seems to happen every time the Mac OS is updated. The root cause seems to be that BT is piggybacking its "premium" email product off the back of Yahoo. Whatever the reason, it is affecting my ability to keep a work diary online -which is essential as I work freelance. I'm tempted to jack it in and take my business elsewhere. Such a basic fault is unacceptable.
I am having trouble syncing my calendar (on BT Mail/Yahoo) to my iPhone.
I have tried Caldav.calendar.yahoo.com and cal.btinternet.com. The former never verifies. The latter verifies but doesn't sync with my calendar.
Any ideas?
I have had the same problem for about 5 days.
It is really pathetic that a supposedly mature product can keep having this problem.
I will try to contact Support tomorrow and put myself through the usual long-winded process.
