KenrlUK, Don't raise your hopes too high about them calling you back. I was at that stage over a week ago. I chatted with someone at BT who made some suggestions but when those suggestions did not work, he said someone would call me back. Someone did next day but only to tell me that she could only deal with mail problems not calendar. She said she would escalate the query to the next level and someone else would phone me back. No one has and that was a week ago. Don't hold your breath!!!
Same as everyone else posting here. Calendar works fine on my iPhone but on my Mac shows in what I can only describe as safe mode.
Chatted online and was told they'd look into it but still the same. This has been happening for maybe a month now.
Starting to think about using google now.
still out after over a week now, no sign of it getting better yet! bit of colour has arrived for today's date but that about it. Thankfully all my alerts are coming through in my emails but I'm having to move over to google for new any new stuff. @SeanD have you or @RobbieMac managed to pass anything on to the yahoo people as yet.
Hi All sorry that you are having a fault with the Mail Calendar. We do need to investigate this problem further so can you Private Message me and provide the following information:
The exact affected account email address
The exact steps you are following that leads up to the issue occurring
A detailed description of the exact issue being seen
The exact date and time (with time zone) of the most recent attempt or replication of the issue
The exact text of any error message being seen
The exact version of supported web browsers in use (Internet Explorer not supported)
Any other details you feel would be helpful with the investigation
Also is it possible to post a Screenshot(s) without any of your personal information showing to show the fault?
Thanks
John
Ok so I had a brainwave today and tried my yahoo account, i set it up when BT suggested that I would be transfered over to the New BT mail - they dropped that idea a few years ago - what do you know it worked ok and as expected although I have nothing in there as I haven't used it for over 3 years I think it said.
So the url on the yahoo.com that works is
https://uk.mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1?.intl=uk&.lang=en-GB
and the one on the BT system that doesn't work is
It's a bit of while since I i've seen the BT versions but according to my BT email url
and my working ID
https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1?.intl=uk&.lang=en-GB&.partner=none&.src=finance
They are one and same servers perhaps its the referer code that is pointing at the wrong place. who knows what yahoo are doing on their end but BT really does need to give them a really hard poke INHO.
@SeanD , @RobbieMac hopefully this helps, probably not.
Hi, thanks for the update and suggestions - none of the links worked though. The screen that I get when I click on them says I may have tried an old version and I should use the newer one ... that does not work with my calendar either or any of my devices now, including iPhone
I also have a mail@yahoo.co.uk email address. I logged in and the calendar displays and works as it should.
However, I also cannot log into my BT email using https://uk.yahoo.com/, I too get the "You may be using an old link, to view your email please go to https://www.bt.com/email" message.
Ok, thanks - what link are you using to get to the working calendar please ?
Ah, I have also recently been having the message about using an old link.
So what have BT or Yahoo changed that has seemingly led to this problem?
