Woke this morning to find that I have no internet connection and my phone number has been changed .this due to my neighbour changing to sky and they have cancelled my account with BT instead of his . After a brain numbing 40 minute phone call to BT we established that my account had been cancelled without consent or notification and they told me my only option was to open a new account which takes 14 days to connect and then try to re asign my old number to it . I have done this but can't believe there is not an easier route to correcting this , when I try to contact BT customer service I am asked to give the phone number but because it is not connected they don't recognise it and I am cut off Can anyone help please. I am pulling my hair out with this thanks Steve
