My BT account thinks I'm an employee

I'm trying to look at what upgrades I can get on my account but it says I'm an employee. I'm not an employee of BT and never have been. How can I get the flag taken off the account when I'm not supposed to ring them up?

You can contact the billing team on 0800 800 150. They should be able to advise you on this. If that doesn't work out let me know.

Tried ringing - got stuck on hold for ages with no answer and messages saying don't ring BT if you can avoid it. Is there are better way of contacting them for non-urgent stuff like this (e.g. a message like this one!)?
