My BT app Access Control no longer working

I've been using the My BT app to manage access control (router is a BT Smart Hub 2), but for some reason it just stopped working one day. Now attempting to restrict access to any device gives me an error that says "Something went wrong, please try again".

I have already deleted and reinstalled the app and reset the router, neither of which have helped. What can I do to get this working again?

Just found your post as I always have these messages in the App and have sort of got used to them but they are very annoying. 

my example is changing the schedules on groups of devices eg bedtime for the kids devices. It errors but if you go ignore the message, go back a menu and then back in, you’ll see it’s worked anyway. 

I doubt they’ll ever bother to fix this and I’ve just got used to it. Wifi still works really well at least
