Also iPad 4, iOS 10.3.3.
App Store says requirements are iOS 9.0 or later.
BT help pages say iPad 2 or later.
Do someone need to have a word with whoever writes the App Store info?

I couldn't comment on that but if your machine is on the list I posted earlier then you won't be able to update as there isn't a later iOS for machines that are.
Thanks for the help. My iPad isn’t on this list of vintage products, but it is a 32 bit machine, so I suspect this may be the problem. I guess it may well be on the next list they publish.
Heres a useful list of specs including whether a device is 32 or 64 bit
Did you check the Obsolete products further down the list
Is my “iPad 4th generation” really an “iPad Wi-Fi + 4G”?
Sadly, yes. If yours is an iPad 4 then it is obsolete and you will not be able to download any iOS updates later than 10
I've just borrowed an iPad 4 from a friend to test this, all I can say is very sloppy coding.
I was allowed to download the MyBT App from the Apple Store and install it but it crashes when launched just as @AndrewRMason describes.
If, as I suspect, this app requires iOS 11 or greater then it should have thrown up an error message when I tried to download/install it, this might be worth bringing to the attention of the development team.
But then why did the previous update work alright if my iPad is now so out of date?
