Hi Folks, another update.
Well, thanks to the nice and wonderful Mods on here and a really nice lady at BT by the name of Ca***, things seem to be going ahead.
My phone seems to have been sorted out, it has the right package on it - Anytime Unlimited.
AND most of all, I once again, have an order set up for Infinity 2!!!!
My HH3 is due for delivery around 3rd of September, and the Go-Live date is on the 5th September!!
Er, so what's the problem?
On the Tracking page is the following:
Your appointment is no longer required, as our engineer can connect your line without requiring access to your premises. The engineer will work to connect your line at the exchange.
This a bit of a problem as no doubt you clever folks on here will realise, I kind of need the appropriate socket to be installed in my premises.
Still, it's progress.
Thanks to all who have had a hand in getting things this far. I can't wait to tick the "Solved" option!
The FINAL Update!!
Well, the OpenReach engineer came out yesterday, waved his magic hands over my wall socket, and BT Infinity 2 was installed, and working!! 78Mbps! Makes a bit of a difference from the ropey 1.1Mbps I was getting from ADSL2+ I think.
I would like to thank all concerned who took the time and effort to sort this mess out for me. You are wonderful people!
