My Bill total as of 21 June shows the usual amount from the regular charges.
What's happened since this bill shows two credits, dated 11 Mar and 15 Mar, but the Total due is not altered by them.
I would also be interested in knowing the reasons for these credits.
I've followed the link to Your bill explained but that didn't answer either of these questions.
Thanks for any help you can give
Were they not against excess charges on a previous bill that were unpaid, and then the credits maybe counteracted them?
Like if you had £40 remaining to pay but disagreed, then BT gave you a £40 credit, your total due on the new bill would be your normal charges, and showing the credits on the bill is just a confirmation to show BT credited those previous charges? Hard to know without seeing your bill.
For the last two months, my bill has shown two credit adjustments from 7th and 10th September.
(These were correct at the time.) They don't have any effect on the total -- BT must have a glitch in their systems!
Richard
ctriz, thanks for your suggestions, but no, there had been no excess or disputed charges in previous bills.
Looking back at the bills from last year I notice the same amounts credited on the same days last year as are shown on my current bill. The differences are that last year there was an explanation for each credit and the credits reduced the amount payable; now there is no explanation and no difference to the amount due.
Richard, I'm not quite sure if you are also seeing fresh mentions of previous credits, but I agree about a glitch in the system!
