Hello,
I'm trying to send an email to btinternet.com user and I see all my emails are marked as spam.
This is not a bulk or mass email, this is a single email only.
I tried to find how to contact btinternet.com support team, but could not find their email contact info.
Then I tried to send it to abuse@btinternet.com, but it was ignored.
Did anyone try successfully contact them by email recently?
Solved! Go to Solution.
How are you sending the mail? Is the sending server following best practice with SPF, DMARC and DKIM?
Thank you for your quick follow up, I appreciate it.
Yes, I have SPF, DMARC, DKIM setup properly. Other SMTP services don't report it as spam. I think Gmail requires those for a long time and I get it there delivered properly.
Interesting thing is that it started just recently only. I believe it was fine just a couple months ago or so.
Unfortunately, I don't have exact day when BT started mark it as spam.
You could try contacting postmaster@btinternet.com but don't hold your breath waiting for a reply.
I would be surprised if they monitor "postmaster", but I sent it there anyway. At least, it did not bounce (yet). I guess we'll see. Thanks for the suggestion.
If someone has another more guaranteed way, I would appreciate it. I wonder if someone from BT monitors the Community Forum.
The address is monitored, but they are very slow to respond.
The forum is monitored by the BT moderators, but I suspect their advice would be the same as mine.
The BT spam filters are notoriously over zealous.
Ah, good to know. Thanks for the details. I'll keep my fingers crossed hoping someone will follow up eventually.
