My internet cannot handle more than one person

I have the BT homehub 4. Before BT I was on Sky, they use the same cables to provide internet as BT. Since swapping to BT 2 months ago I have had nothing but trouble from the internet box and the company itself.

My internet cannot handle the slightest traffic, if my sister is using her laptop, I cannot be on my PC. Whilst I was on sky, my internet would drop connection every hour or so, but I was able to cope, with BT my internet is constantly slow, and I want to know why, I want BT to please help me.

Me and my dad have rung BT 10+ times now, we have been told to do the exact same things. We have been told to hold (which resulst in us being placed on a dead line). We have been told to wait for a phone call that never came. We are now stuck on a 12 month contract, with unusable internet, this is my last hope for internet access that isnt prehistoric. Thankyou.

Are you on adsl or fibre?  Which hub do you have?
