Sometimes says no BT ID (I have one - I can log in to BT.com)
Sometimes says Error - 1001 - V5 Please try again later (Love that one)
Sometimes it says no account number (I have one - I can view it on BT.com)
The Wifi one never even gets past the 'checking log-in details....' - It just sits there for hours.
I've deleted and reinstalled and I'm using the latest versions. (Before anyone asks)
iOS9.latest. iPhone 6. Brown hair. 6ft. Blue-ish eyes. Married.
I've just returned to BT due to the monopoly of FTTP roll-out in my area.
It's been 36 hours. I'm peeved already.

Thanks for the useful info regarding BT's activity on the forum. I incorrectly assumed it was monitored and not the user community.
Regarding the app:
I am awaiting activation and re-entry to the world of BT. My order emails, and the website, suggested I should track my order using the app - hence the desire to activate it. After a long chat (as suggested above) I eventually found out that I cannot access the app until my intallation is complete - despite being pointed to the app to track my order....

Hopefully someone official will twig the bad advice and update their instructions accordingly.
