Hi, I drive for a taxi company and have to get up early in the morning when the phone rings, and early on Wednesday morning I was called 3 different times by companies and personal callers that were not even up at that time in the morning.
How do I know this, I phoned these people back and they all say that it is not possible that they phoned us.
I believe these are all BT customers, one was ex-directory and was surprised I could ring her back.
Either there is a fault in the BT computer, generating random calls or someone is doing a scam.
The scam could be making money by charging a few pence(so that you do not notice the charge) when you answer the phone.
Every time I answered the phone it went dead.
Hope this does not happen again as it is very frustrating being woken up several times in the early hours for no reason.
