Last night my BT's Netprotect Plus software it appears to be working, however, any attempts to run a virus scan imediately produce the error message:
I have tried it in safe mode aswell with the same results. Everything is running fine on another laptop I have. Any help please??
System: MSI Laptop Platform XP home (2002) SP 3, Intel Celeron processor 1.60GHz P4, 1 GB Ram, 50 GB free disk space.

BTNP can fall over on occasions
Open BTNP and click on Updates:Current
Then click on Check for updates and allow it to download and intsall any it finds
atm BT/McAffe are rolling out a new updates(s) that will require a restart of the PC.
(mine was updated to an even newer version earlier today)
