I have installed NetProtect Plus without a problem on my desktop computer running Vista. I tried to do the same thing on my Windows 7 laptop yesterday and when asked to restart kept getting the blue screen of death! Have used a restore point to get the laptop running again but a second attempt produced the same result. Both computers were already running Mcaffee software. Has anyone suffered a similar problem or can you offer any advice as to how to solve this problem?
It might not be want you want to hear, but I would advise solving it by using another AV. McAfee is regarded by many as a problematic resource hog, no better than a number of free alternatives readily available. More here and in many other threads on this forum.
