Yesterday I installed NetProtect plus and have had problems ever since,
first, just after the install and reboot Windows stopped extending my desktop onto my second monitor, and nothing I do will switch it back on. (I have tested the monitor on another PC and it works)
Second - McAfee falsely detected a trojan in a program that I have been using for years, I know the writer of the program, I know 100% that it doesn't have a trojan, no other AV program has ever detected a problem with it.
so, anyone know how to submit the program to McAfee to prove to them that it's not a trojan how do I get it back from the virus vault, and how do I run it in future? and finally, where is the right place in BT to make a complaint about this? I was unable to work yesterday because of this problem, and one of my colleagues got my overtime - so obviously I'm claiming compensation from BT/McAfee
