FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK!
As usual though I am not quite sure what finally fell into place. I tool all the advice.
i turned off Parental Controls and Web Protect
I turned off Smart Set up on the Hub manager.
I reset the DNA settings again on the Hub manager.
tried Netflix and it works.
i hope the above may help someone else.
thank you all for your contributions. Great teamwork!.
Hi bobciax2 - I am unfortunately in a very similar situation to you. I have Infinity with the latest Smarthud and have just bought a Roku 3.
I can only connect to Netflix when the parental controls are off - and when they are, everything is great. However, when I put the parental controls back on (I have teenage kids so I need PCs in place) I am locked out again.
I can get Netflix on my Panasonic TV and on a set top box, but not through the ROKU 3 !
Do you have to keep the Pf to access Netflix,
Sorry - my last post ended a bit abruptly !
I meant to say, do you have to keep the parental controls off to retain access to Netflix, or are they now back on. If you can watch with PC on, which of the steps you did the job ?
Many thanks
Hi
Sorry, I gave no need for PC so have not tried to reinstate.
You need to make sure that the Roku 3 uses the home hub as the DNS server. If there is an option on the Roku 3 to change the network settings to manual, then you can set the DNS server address to 192.168.1.254.
