Netgear Nighthawk R7500 settings for multicast

I have a Netgear Nighthawk R7500 and would prefer to use that than my current Home Hub 5.  The router has a setting to disable IPMG proxying - I've switched it off to allow IPMG proxying but is there anything else I need to do as I still can't get any channels other than the freeview channels?

As far as I'm aware, enabling IGMP proxying is all you need to do.

I don't think IGMP is the only thing you need to do. I had a R7000 and could never get that working. I tried with stock, custom and 3rd-party firmware and it never worked, apart from once when the router was still loading custom packages.

Can't think what else would be required unless there is some bizarre firewall setting blocking multicast packets. Might be worth asking either Netgear directly or on a Netgear forum (if there is one).
