Can anyone out there offer an explanation for this conundrum I wonder?
My internet supplier is Virgin through their Hub 3. The Hub 3 feeds my BT Whole Home discs and also a Solwise Powerline adaptor. When I plug into the other end of the Powerline upstairs, my laptop reports that I am connected to - the BT Whole Home network name!
Now the weird bit, the Whole Home disc have failed, cannot set them up even after a 30-30-30 reset. They permanently show a purple light. So I have switched them off and resorted to the Virgin wifi network. I have also disconnected them. But my laptop still insists it is connected to my Whole Home network! How can that be?
