Hi, wonder if anyone can help me.
My laptop has never had any problems connecting to the BT broadband in my house. However now, despite multiple restarts, the hub is not even listed as an avialable network. My phone has connected fine to the hub as have the devices of my housemates, so it's just the laptop. Any suggestions on what to do?
A factory reset of the Homehub is carried out by pressing a pin into the red recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds.
Okay, is anything else required afterwards?
I had contacted BT suppot previosuly and they said it's a problem with my computer as all other devices are working fine - but tech support said i would have to pay - which i would rather avoid seeing as this is the first time this has happened to me.
just do the factory reset as decribed then check if laptop can 'see' your home network
you should also
have you turned of smart setup
have you split the networks
Ok great. I'm at work currently so will have to wait til i'm home to try this. Would you have any other suggestions should this fail to work?
