Why did the stop moving people over.
Another system they could not get working .
One system they did get working but they are stopping is the Smarttalk.
Usefull when you are aboard .....they may need to keep it working as the Roaming charges will be coming back in for europe with Brexit
I have found this site, looking for something to help with this awful new format of BT e-mail which I hate ! I will add my name to the list of other users here who strongly object to having this foisted on me, when it is unfit for purpose. I can see BT have made some adjustments yesterday - can at least open my Folders and after being in Saved or Trash can now go back into Inbox without having to log out and back in ! - but I still hate it and it is so frustrating to use. I wish to return to the previous format. I am not adverse to change, when it is for improvement, but I can see no benefit at all in having this changed format for my e-mail. It will only encourage me to change my e-mail account if anything.

Confused now. I assumed I was no longer on the Yahoo system. Now I am not so sure?
Still on the old view at the moment.
If you see Yahoo anywhere on your webmail it means that you are on BTYahoo. If you were migrated you would have been informed when you first logged on after the migration.
If you are on the BTMail system it will not show Yahoo in the BT logo and it will say BTMail at the top right.
If you have become a new BT customer since 2015 you will be on the BTMail system.

You have answered your own question, well done!
Its seems BT are still developing the system. This morning I now have all my old files/message boxes back in view with nothing lost. I have to work out the best method to bring up the content of an email and to delete one.
Sorry but I do not think this new "system" is anywhere near as good as its predecessor.

Click once on the email title and it will open in the lower pane. Double click opens the email in a new window.
If you hover over the email title this opens a list of options on the right which includes the delete button.
OK, on BT not yahoo. That is a relief.
It seems the issue with being unable to access folders has been addressed. I can now scroll down and access my folders as of this morning. Thanks very much for that. However, there are still improvements to be made to this design: The ads. Albeit necessary, they are very annoying. Each time I click on an e-mail I have to close both ads on the left and right of the screen in order to have more space to view my e-mail. This wouldn't be so bad if you only had to do it once. However, each time I click on a new e-mail the ad on the right pops back up, and once again I am forced to close it in order to have sufficient room to view the content of the e-mail. At least make it so that one only has to close the ad once upon opening BT Mail, not each and every time a new e-mail is opened.
This design was definitely not thought up for the users convenience and ease of use in mind. If it was, the people who worked on it need to have a serious talking to. Unfortunately, this is the world we live in. A world where things are constantly being updated with patches and the like to improve something that should have been fit for purpose from the get-go. At least with most things you have a choice to be an early adopter, thus obviating the misery of having nothing work as expected. This design, however, was pushed through without anybody being given a choice, and the empirical result was failure.
Needs to do better in future.
I really do fail to understand why people persist with using a web browser to view mail along with all the ads and trackers etc.
A mail client is far superior, more secure, doesn't have ads, isn't reliant on BT not losing your emails, isn't held ransom to the webpage designer, etc etc
One of the worst areas on the new layout is the left hand side where an advert appears on the bottom. This prevents being able to see all of your own folders and makes moving items from the main inbox very difficult paticularly folders at the end of the list. Can the advert be moved to the other side?
