I had to remove and add my laptop again to get that working again and it is now saying I cannot make another device change for another 30 days. I had hoped they could reset that limitation to let me give it a try but not been offered as a suggestion yet.

Dann007 any more info on if the new look app will be free come September for BT TV customers that have the price increse. Hope it will be come free by the time I go on holiday to Dublin for 4 nights in mid September. As I play on maybe using app on the plane and when im in hotel room and it be good if my sister can use app on my account with her Apple TV 2nd Gen and hope the BT TV app will work with my 2014 Samsung full HD smart TV as i dont have an extra box sub.

BT will be contacting people closer to September about the New TV app. I’ve asked for more info about who and when, as soon as that comes through it will get posted on the community.

Just had a call from Stephanie from BT to let me know they had reset my app profile which includes letting me re-register my tablet and laptop (if I understood that correctly).  Happy to confirm I can now once more stream live TV such as the Eurosport channels on both devices as I was able to before.   For me this issue has been resolved.  Thanks to all concerned.

I’ve just realised that the videos on the BT App, on the Apple TV, don’t show up in cross-app universal search.

Searching for Halt and Catch Fire, for example, only provides results for Prime Video and iTunes.

Get the BT software boffins working on this alongside TV App intergration, please.

Will this new BT TV Extra app work with the Apple 2nd or 3rd gen Apple TV box for i was at my sisters other week and noticed that her Apple TV box dont have the BT TV app on it. 

I cant remember if its the 2nd gen or 3rd gen Apple TV box that she has all I know is that its not the 1st gen or the new 4th gen Apple box. I bought her the Aplpe TV box for her Christmas back in 2016. 

Also if you dont mind me asking will it also work with a 2014 Samsung full HD smart TV.

Hopefully I will be one of the ones that gets emailed in September to get the app for free.
