I'm so frustrated I don't know how to proceed with this, so was hoping to get some advice on here.
I ordered a phone line for my new build property on 25th May and it still has not been activated!
Trying to get a straight and agreed reason for the delay out of either BT, Openreach, Barratt my housing developer or the contractor working on site is nigh on impossible.
Site infrastructure not finished - rubbished by the Contractor and the house facing me has been connected!
Contractor says that the center of town needs digging up for more lines but the council won't let them - again why have other houses been connected?!
Indian call center says 'ducting work' - which means precisely nothing to me and is the 5th time i've been given this reason by BT's 'specialist team'!
I've even contacted my MP to try and push this forward - why are houses that have been in planning for years not got this infrastructure!
Don't even get me started on Openreach engineers not turning up for appointments!
Advice appreciated - I feel absolutely helpless!

only people who can help are the forum mods who are bt employees. they will post a contact us link and should be able to update you on current position with your line
After completing the email NOT PM then you join a queue of other customers waiting for mod help. The mods will get back to you in 3/5 working days either by phone or email

We were without BB for a whole month on our new estate due to lack of ports in the cabinet etc...
They had forgotten to run a main link to serve 300+ homes from the cabinet to the estate and create a distribution network which took an awful long time. BTOR gave every affected customer Three.co.uk mobile broadband dongles to borrow which gave us nearly 2mb (not good enough!)
It was nightmare getting our installation date and for an engineer to ACTUALLY turn up!
