New Contract charges

I have been told my contract is about to end in April and that my package will cost me an extra £100 per year to renew. There are then a variety of options some of which are cheaper  saying that this is the best comparison for your existing deal however non have my landline options included or if they do then why have I been paying so much for my current contract. Our broadband speeds are pathetic in this neck of the woods so if anything I should have a rebate on my bill. Why is it going to cost me an extra £100 a year I see no reason for this dramatic increase.

Re: New Contract charges

@Mur

As an existing customer wishing to re-negotiate a new contract, you need to ring 0800 800 030 as that is a special number for contract renewals only.

Re: New Contract charges

You asked 'Why is it going to cost me an extra £100 a year I see no reason for this dramatic increase. '

The answer is because it's BT and they'll try it on.  Try another supplier.My contract is up for renewal and they tell me my current cost is £21.50/month, I wish. I'm paying twice that so when do I get a refund for the overcharge?
