(Thanks David!) Update time :- 15 days after connection
So for the last 4 or 5 days I've been going back and forth with a mod. who's been a great help so far. (thanks!) But it's not been without failure...Michelle arranged a Profile reset and my ping type to be switched to fast. For that day my connection was amazing; synced at 8128 kbps /448 kbps (or there abouts, can't remember exactly but it's my actual line maximum with my distance from exchange I'm told) Ping times ranging from 20-50ms was great while it lasted.
Next day I go online and notice my ping was sitting at 100+ms again (in a game; 1st assumption is server issues) so naturaly I go do a 3rd party ping/speed test to which I get the same long ping times, ruling out server problems as the issue. I check the hub status page to find my ping has been switched back to interleaving and the time of disconnection was around 6am. When nothing is using the braodband or even power in my house (eg.random interference). Such an odd time to disconnect?
Then this evening my speeds dropped considerably (worse than before) going as low as 0.04 Kbps down and 0.01 Kbps up and ping times way over 200ms! Simply unusable.
My sync rate/Ip profile has remained the same (so far) however and isn't reducing.
So it's back to the emails sadly but I figured I'd post an update regardless and hopefully be posting back with a 'solved!' post soon....(he hopes...)

**Edit** noise margin remains 6.0db as of last sync
Found this in the logs, seems to be about the suspect time of drop outs, could this be the culprit? Seems like something is accessing the hub to me.
EDIT** Something makes me think this is irrelevent and some kind of updater or sync. noticed it has 'BT' in the links. See below though:

I wasn't even awake at this time, nobody was, so how can that be a user request?
Hub is essentially silent for 3+ hours prior to events and from after the log times posted it's just lots of Wlan logs (See Below) every 2-30 seconds until 12pm that day.

PPP LCP Send Termination Request [User request]
that is misleading and there are numerous post about it and one from mods saying that does not result in connection dropping
Odd but something between 06:21 and 06:23 is disconnecting me, that's blatently obvious.
I don't understand everything in the logs but I can see that's when I disconnect. It delayed my profile reset also, michelle had to wait another 3 days because after 2 days yet again I dropped out at 3-7am in the morning. Just like everyone else has on the forum. It's got nothing to do with the hubs (most complain about HH5, I'm on HH4 and previous Sky Netgear router did same towards the end of my time with them, same time every day, disconnected.) nor firmware, (previous points) it's routing/exchange problems I think.
The only time I disconnect is through the night when BT are 'doing things'
semi-off-topic but kinda related
I remember a few years ago now we were suffering from a huge area issue.
Naturally I contacted Sky and gave as much info as I could. Weeks later still trying to get to the bottom of it, it was being put down to a faulty hub/wiring in my house. After constant persistence, telling them look, it's not just Sky that's having problems, I know people on EE, BT and other suppliers (albeit through BT wholesale) were also experiencing the same issue.
After turning blue in the face trying to tell them this, BTOR finaly accepted that it wasn't my wiring at all (odd that) and it turned out to be a huge mess up in my local exchange, something about data cards or something.
My point is: They were wrong then and it's entirely possible they're wrong again, just because they say it's not that, doesn't mean it isn't I'm afraid. It's not until it gets picked up as a cluster of problems in an area they go: 'oh maybe it is an area/larger issue'
It was myself that got that problem fixed and myself only. If it wasn't for my persistence we'd probably still have no internet and being blamed on 'our domians' (Also had my fees dropped to £10/month for 12 months cause of it then half price line rental for 12 months after that. while BT do nothing.)
It's getting them to accept there's a problem that's the problem.

Apprently I need an engineer out, so arranging that just now and will update when I speak to him.
It's a sad day when your upload is faster than download.
hopefully engineer will be able to find and fix the problem as you have the best connection speed for adslmax
Yeah hopefully.
Appointment for tuesday so need to endure this for another 5 days. Can't wait for FTTC to finish installing in my area so I can upgrade. (another reason why I switched to BT now; No LLU)
~6months allegedly which puts me 7 months into contract, so hopefully shouldn't have to wait too long to get upgraded.
I'll post update when engineer comes.
